This is the RHS Class of 2015 Seniors for individual sports portrait shots for the 2014 Boys Basketball season. Shot inside the gym using two Einstein 640s and two Canon Speedlites.
A male model shoot in a San Diego location. This shoot was done in a park outside of San Diego. The model, Tyler, needed portfolio shots for modeling jobs.
Had the privilege of shooting another Aztec football game at Qualcomm Stadium. This was the last regular season game for the Aztecs and superstar Donnel Pumphrey ran for 267 yards and three TDs. Pumphrey has actually broken the long standing rushing record of Marshall Faulk.
A wonderful family and another great San Diego beach portrait shoot. This was shot in La Jolla at Windansea Beach. The weather was awesome as usual in San Diego – but it was also an unusually warm period (Santa Ana) and so there was not alot of clouds, which can make for a really cool […]
This was a unique shoot. A Marine Homecoming at Miramar MCAS is San Diego. Captured two couples as they we reunited after a six month deployment. In the process I shot quite a few candids of spouses and children as they waited patiently for the Marines to arrive from the base on buses.
Another shoot over at Dos Picos Park. This is an ongoing series of photos for a middle school child moving on to High School. Class of 2015 for middle school kids. A great location to do some outdoor studio shots. Some of the portraits are in natural light and others are using strobes.

This is a portrait shoot for a graduating middle schooler. It is part one of a series of shoots up to the end of the school year. This was shot at Dos Picos Park in Ramona and is done partially in natural light and then partially with strobes and modifiers. Dos Picos offers a number […]
Another glorious seaside shoot in San Diego, this time at the Cabrillo Tide Pools. Yes, you have to pay to get in there now. It’s $5 and you get a pass that lasts you 6 days I think. The sunset was really pretty and the couple was outstanding to work with. This is a bit […]
One of the great things about San Diego is all the awesome places to shoot. For this portrait shoot we went down to the Cabrillo Tide Pools. Luckily it happened to be one of the lowest tide times in a month so we were able to setup an entire outdoor studio complete with strobes and […]
